You never die on the Internet

While browsing Dopplr today, in search for friends and colleagues, I stumbled across this page:

Itojun Dopplr

Jun-ichiro “Itojun” Hagino, passed away on 29 October 2007. He was one of the great spirits behind the KAME project, a joint effort of six companies in Japan to provide a free stack of IPv6, IPsec, and Mobile IPv6 for BSD variants. This is the IPv6 stack that is currently running on the Mac I use to write this post.

Searching a bit further, Google returned me linked to Itojun’s Twitter page, his personal home page,  but most importantly, the work Itojun has done for KAME and the IETF.

You really never die on the Internet.
