Mailman and Enhancements

I use Mailman a lot for mailing lists I run here. Unfortunately, the development of Mailman has been slow over the last few months and there were some features I needed. I ended up patching the live version, but this is an issue when the package is updated, because one has to recreate all the patches after each update.
This did not prove efficient, so I put together my own RPM for Mailman. It includes

  • Mailman 2.1.9
  • Mhonarc and HTdig integration for archives
  • MySQL support
  • Several patches now in subversion
  • Allow specifying another list in accept_these_nonmembers

The RPM: mailman-2.1.9-3.isoc.i386.rpm
The SRPM: mailman-2.1.9-3.isoc.src.rpm

As usual, they work for me. Your mileage may vary.
